In the period from December 1, 2022 to April 20, 2023, the Women’s Vision Association from Tuzla implemented an initiative called “Person of trust in practice for women victims of violence”, with the support of the Foundation for Women’s Empowerment. <\/p>\n\n

Within this initiative, a meeting was held with representatives of institutions such as the Center for Social Work Tuzla, the Tuzla Police Department, the Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Turkey, the Tuzla Municipal Court and the Center for Mental Health Tuzla.<\/em> <\/p>\n\n

The aim of the meeting was to familiarize the representatives of the institutions with the amendments to the Law on Domestic Violence in 2021, when the Trusted Institute was introduced, so that the said amendments could be applied in practice.<\/p>\n\n
